Has anyone else's lj stretched itself really wide, as if someone's posted a huge image without a cut, but there's no such image (or anything else that might be causing it) on your flist page? This is very strange and I don't like it because I have to scroll horizontally to read anyone's posts! Or are you having other weird things? I'm dreading

I can't replicate it at all, and if you knew my engineering brain, you'd know something like that bugs me right into the next week!
I've even fiddled with my settings and I can't get it to stretch...
grrrrr....

It must be something to do with the style and layout I'm using, that's all I can think... it's a custom layout on an old lj style (XColibur), so it might be that I can go in and find something that instructs "fit page to images" instead of the other way around... At the moment it's supposed to stretch to a certain extent, but there's no reason for it to do so right now! Unless there's someone on my flist whose post I'm not seeing, and the code has glitched for filters or summat... I don't have time to fiddle either - I shouldn't even be here now! *headdesk* Thanks for thinking about it though - if you have any bright ideas... *g*

My LJ is behaving itself beautifully; looks like whatever your problem is, it's not shared.

I quite often don't have the problems that other people have, or else have them days later instead. I suspect it's to do with being on different servers depending on when and where we joined...

And hee - yes! I love the guy who's holding his trunks up with braces - very practical! *g*

Funny thing, I tried to stretch it weeks ago and gave up, but with your post it's just perfect.
I was here an hour ago, there was still the empty stretch on the right, but now - wonderful, just as I like it.

I do hope it stays!

Hmmn - I'm trying to work out where you're looking at it and I'm looking at it and all... *g* My own posts look fine, when I go into them, and my own lj page looks fine, it's just my actual flist page that's all stretched out - as if someone has posted a huge image in my flist and it's distorted it, which sometimes happens. Only I can't see any huge pictures on my flist, so...?!

My own post is perfect in my own lj - it's everyone else's posts (the ones I want to read on my flist page!) that are all out of whack... So I'm kind of hoping it doesn't stay! *sighs*

Hee - that's okay, I've done that before too! *g* I think they must have been working on the code somewhere, and it's glitched up my fancy customised layout... *sniffs sadly*

It hasn't fixed yet - waaaah!

Erm... so when you see my post in your flist, it all looks... what do you mean by "cramped"? (*pops over to see if I can see...*) Oh - do you mean that you have a narrow column with the posts in, and lots of green background? You might have to change your theme if the one you have doesn't let you change the size of the columns... (which you probably know *g*)

Yeah - my own posts are fine, and they look fine on my lj, it's just everyone else's!

It's just the normal new version, I accidentally switched and can't switch back.
And I think it's just because I use a tablet, nothing to do with the Theme.
I'm pretty flexible, and don't mind that much. *gg*

I keep being offered the tablet-version on my phone... and tablet *g*... too, and I keep avoiding selecting it, cos I just know I won't be able to switch back either. I just quite like my theme - if I get rid of it I want it to be because I've got rid of it! In November I'll've had it for ten years (if they don't take it away from me before then... *sighs*)
