I was so surprised when I looked up and saw it! I had to dash right out... *g*
Mmmn, haggis... the vegetarian kind these days (though the best haggis I ever had was the real thing in the Shetland Islands, fried in batter with chips from the chippie! *g*
D'you know, I can't remember what today's weather was, and it's only just turning into tomorrow... Grey, I think. Basically - grey. Haggis leftovers makes up for alot though! *g*
I so wasn't expecting it! I looked up in the darkening room though, and had to dash out straight away with my wee camera... And you know, I reckon we should see your pics anyway... *g*
Wow. When I see an amazing sunset and snap it, it always looks totally banal - but these look fab, especially with the reflection.
No haggis for me, ta - wouldn't say no to a dram, mind, but haggis - I can take it or leave it, tbh! (zoic#2 got invited to a haggis-tatties-neeps-dram supper last night, though - have to ask how it all went down! *g*)
Thank you! The trick is to focus on the lightest part of the picture so that the light's metered from there - it brings all the colours out... *g*
I really like veggie haggis (and years ago I loved the actual haggis that was friend in batter and came with chips that they sold at the chippie in the Shetlands - delish!) and I had this sitting in my fridge all ready to go... and then realised that I had the 26th in my head (Australia Day) when I was thinking of Burns night - *headdesk* The closest thing I have to a dram in the house is Baileys, though... well, hmmn! Hope it turns out Zoic#2 had fun - how sophisticated to be invited to a Burns supper!
Ah, well, it was a student Burns supper - one of the flats in the halls of residence is inhabited by all Scottish students, who apparently decided to make a night of it - so I suspect the qualifier "sophisticated" may not apply *bg*
