Well that all went wrong...

Apparently I really shouldn't post to say that I'm doing well with NaNoWriMo, because I immediately can't write the day after. Or much the day after that. Eeeeep!

Hee - thank you! I must try to write earlier today though! *g*

Hope it's a nice busy day - no rush for email, it'll just be lovely when it arrives!

ETA - oh, and I meant to say, how exciting to get a Goodreads notification this morning! I'm all keen to get my other books and so on there now, and perhaps I will write some reviews, because I do tend to use other people's there and always feel I should contribute to the sharing. Which is why I joined in with lj, come to think of it... *g*

Maybe you should tell your landlords about the cold. Just a gentle request that they turn on the heat from time to time.

And yea for more writing! It must be contagious, because I've finally started on something. :-)

Oh, there wasn't much they could have done when I posted it - it was my own fault for sitting up until around 1am, when I should have been snug in bed! *g* The heating is switched to come on now, too, cos it's got properly cold outside as well as in - we've hit actual autumn weather at last, I think! It's not on in the day when I'm the only person in the house, but they've shown me how to use the thermostat and said that I'm welcome to put it on if I do get too cold. I'm mostly happy to bundle up in the day though, rather than spend oodles on heating an entire house that's not being used... If it gets too much, then I'll ask whether they mind if I bring my electric oil heater from storage - it's not cheap either, but a quick blast now and then would be better than all the central heating. Landlords are actually lovely and understanding about the heating - and they do know that this end is a bit colder, because of the way it's built (it's the oldest/least-renovated, apparently, so it's missing a layer of board in the walls ( ... )

I understand about the heating. We tend to keep the house cool, even in winter, so I've learned to layer. *g*

I'm writing, um,....Bruce/Dick! *g* It's for a Christmas fest. They changed the rules on the annual MFU Christmas fest, so I won't be joining that this year. I'm either not fast enough to claim a story prompt, or they're ones I wouldn't be caught dead writing about, lol.

Unfortunately, I don't see myself writing more Pros. I was really unsatisfied with what I did write. I just couldn't seem to find their voices. I suppose I should have a huge marathon of Pros watching. Maybe that would help. But until I have the time for something like that (I do not know where all my time goes,) I'm afraid there's no Pros story in my future.

Yeah, layering usually works for me too, but there are times here when I'd be wearing so many clothes I'd be Michelin-ish, with my arms not able to reach anything! *g* I bought a pair of long thermal undies today though, which should help!

And I'm sorry you feel that way about your Pros stories - I'm sure I remember enjoying reading them at the time! In fact I shall add them to my list for re-reading, so that I can tell you they're perfectly good... *g* Although I do appreciate that it's down to how we feel about our stories... Hope you're enjoying your Bruce/Dick fest at least - shame about the MFU one changing...

Your new landlords sound lovely and very friendly too - well done you at long last. No luck with moving for me so far but I'm not easily beaten even though I've been bulldozed into signing another shorter lease ... I'm still looking to jump ship the first chance something suitable comes up. I'm missing have a home. ..Kiashi

I'm playing catch-up again... My new landlords are lovely so far - and in fact I'm cooking for them tonight, in return for the other week. So nice that it's possible!

Good for you, sticking to your guns about moving, even if they are being awkward about it. Landlords seem to have been given all the power over here these days, sounds like it's at least as true for you...

Bravo! You rock! Seriously. While I am struggling with a single chapter (wrote 3§ in 3 weeks!).
