Hello, I have showed up briefly to brazenly take responsibility for this.

Oh, bb, you're good. And there were no tears (thankfully; I'm not sure I could take any more of those right after Iwo Jima). But seriously. I can't really pick out any bit, so I'll just flail about the whole thing in general. Everyone is so delightfully spot on - and it's exactly what I needed to read after not having been... around, for a while. You have such a way with them. I shall use your fic to revisit them while I am being caught up in my lousy timetable. /is very subtly demanding

Yes, I was quite intent on making this ridiculously frivolous after the angst fest that was Triptych. (And I so feel you on the Iwo Jima; my previous attempt at watching it had me running off to watch VsA videos partway through.)
