It's still April, innit? More poetry!

I was introduced to David Wagoner, and this poem, by a lover during my Freshman year in college. I've liked it ever since, for a number of reasons, and it's been on my mind of late.

Such an evocative poem! It seems a different part resonates with me each time I read it.

"Evocative" is just the right word, and yeah, it's had something different for me depending on where my mind is when I read it; there's something new in it when viewed from different angles. Probably one of the reasons I like it so much and that it's stayed a favorite for so long.
