Dude, the Jhansi ki Rani would overwhelm the History Channel. Best to let them work up to her on their own. ;) Did you see the commemorative statue to her in the middle of Jhansi? I love that statue...

One of the things I'm always struck by when I look at your pictures of India (besides the simple fact that they're gorgeous) is the color. So much color! It's hard for me to believe, having lived my whole life here in drab, don't-stand-out America, that there are places where they splash color about so joyfully.
