i can imagine hyderabad being kinda "meh". but it has a fascinating history. it's taken me being in lucknow for over 6 months to finally truly appreciate its history when, at first glance, it is not the most fascinating or beautiful of indian cities.

ugh about the street-facing room. i have broken down over lesser things. ;) yeh world hai na world indeed!

I think if I had gotten off of that street Hyderabad would not have been so very un-charming ;p The smog was incredible . Ido love muslim areas though and I only had one day and my driver was an idiot haha. I wish I'd had a few more days and a better hotel and a better driver.

That tangle of powerlines in the Bush picture makes me glad I'm not an electrician in that town. I love all of those small vehicles. I wish we had them in America. Thanks for the look into Hyderabad.

Naa not really, I just speak "bollywood hindi"
That phrase "yeh world hai na world " is from Bunty Aur Babli, where Amitabh Bachchan says it like 30 times!

in case you need to know what the george bush billboard says:

"Is he an idiot? We present to you the evidence and you can make the decision."
