The Bhel Puri man at the bus stand @ the Ajanta Caves.
After a long days field trip for the girls, the bhel puri walla sets up his portable stall right in front of the bus stand. Smart guy, he did some brisk business!

its indian snack food!
In this case its the version that is made up mostly of puffed rice
(like breakfast puffed rice) with added and mixed with it
chopped red onion
chopped tiny chunks of mango
fresh coriander leaves
fresh tiny bits of green chili
chili powder, coriander powder,
chopped garlic
tamarind chutney
mint chutney
all mixed together
with fresh lemon juice squirted on top
to tart it all up!

No wonder those girls tongues are wagging in anticipation!!!
