You know I would probably never write for a travel magazine. The reason is, my most favorite spots are the ones I would want to keep secret. Now some great places are totally on the map, and I wouldn't mind telling everyone about my experiences there. Wow! I am ashamed to say this but I never knew so much about Chanderi! Although, I own a Chanderi sari. :p

You are probably the only person on my friends list who had even heard about Chanderi saris before this post. So don't feel bad ;p. Is it a nice sari? It is neat to see that such nice things are made in such humble surroundings, yes?
I was looking in your user profile, and you are from Delhi? So then you are from the same general area where Chanderi would be known. :)

you are right about the remote locations. no need to advertize them....word of mouth is good enough :)
