I had a neat dream last night. It featured me as a baby in 1959 with my dad (U.S. Army, sergeant, retired) and several fictional sergeants from various movies: Karl Malden from Take the High Ground, Ernest Borgnine from From Here to Eternity, Myron McCormick from No Time for Sergeants and Warren Oates from Stripes.
So this is basically the dream.
My Dad, in 1959,

...is carting me....

...around in a baby carriage much like this one (but without the woman)...

...but wearing his sergeant's stripes...

...and then meets a group of these other sergeants played by Karl Malden...

...Ernest Borgnine (although in the dream is not so mean or glum as his portrayal of a sergeant in the movie)...

...Myron McCormick...

and Warren Oates...

I see them all, including my Dad, look into the baby carriage simultaneously and they all smile.
That's the dream. I wish there was more, but it's satisfying in its own right.
