Ron checked his watch for the third time as he headed up the crowded streets of Diagon Alley. He and Verity had a large crowd show up in the shoppe around quarter past three and he had to rush to get them all out before needing to leave.
He pushed through a group of giggling witches who seemed to recognize him and headed directly for Gringotts. He hoped Hermione wouldn't be too upset that he was going to be a few minutes late.
Ron glanced over at the office of the Daily Prophet which seemed to be swarming with reporters and vaguely wondered what piece of gossip they were working on today. It wasn't as if the Prophet was known for their journalistic integrity.
He saw Hermione standing on the steps of Gringotts and rushed over to her. He bent his head to kiss her cheek and felt his lips tingle slightly from the contact.
"Sorry I'm late, Hermione," Ron gasped as he tried to catch his breath. "We had late rush at work and blimey we're nearly sold out of Daydream Charms."
