Hermione arrived at Clytemnestra's Café early so that she could beat the rush to get a cup of coffee. She stared into the dark liquid as she added her cream and sugar to the cup and sighed happily as the smell wafted to her nose.
She had a busy day ahead of her or rather evening ahead of her. Hermione had a date with Ron and she had to spend a bit of time packing to leave for Hogwarts. She hadn't told Harry or Ron yet about the house-sharing and to be honest she was a bit nervous about Ron's reaction.
She found a small out of the way table and sipped her coffee. She knew Harry would arrive right on time but she did enjoy having a few moments alone to compose herself. She'd had a horrible row with her parents the night before and her Mum had left the room in tears.
Hermione sighed as she took another sip of coffee and began watching the door. Harry should be arriving any moment and she wondered what Ron had said to him about their date.
