Writing challenge for Carl!
Okay, Carl, here's your writing challenge.
A songfic, drabble, whatever, using "I'm Not That Girl" from Wicked as your theme, (I've got the cd I burned for you, I'll give it to you tomorrow.) Any fandom that I'm familiar with, any pairing, but it MUST have a happy ending, and there must be some sort of grammatical rant about commas in it.
You get a bonus if you can work Marble Slab into it somehow. (Even it's just a passing mention.) Double triple I'll buy you an ice cream bonus if you can work that tea thing from Wan Fu's into it.
Why? Because I can't write angst fics, even if I know they're going to have a happy ending. Carl can write some of the best tear jerkers EVER. And then give them happy endings.
Anyone else want to take a shot at it, go ahead. The Wan Fu thing might be a bit hard, but the basic idea is that you shouldn't order soda at a Mongolian BBQ because you'll never get a refill. Ever. At all. No matter how much you beg, whine and plead or explain that you've just eaten something that was REALLY spicy and you're dying. You'll do better to start stealing the drinks of the one member of the group that was smart enough to get tea.
