I just had to leave a quick review and let you know that I absolutely loved this, but what else is new? I'm far too gone with the sleepiness to be specific, but it was just incredible!

(oh and ps, the thing with tina and then frank's girlfriend/wife-very clever :) )

Night!

And thanks so much! It's so gratifying to know that people are still reading this and liking it.

And I'm glad you liked the thing with Tina/Rachel. I wasn't sure anyone would catch it, but it made me giggle.

Sleep well!

Oh! More more! Ecklie and Vartan huh? That's certainly unexpected. And the stuff that Ecklie thought. Interesting.

Aw, poor Nicky. Hopefully he gets to make it better soon.

Ah, Ecklie and Vartann.... Well, I wanted Gil to hear Ecklie talking about him, and couldn't for the life of me figure out how to do it. Vartann just kinda made the scene fall into place. For some reason I really love the idea of those two coming together more or less by default. Plus, ever since "Iced," I've liked watching them play off each other.

I call it "Varklie" and I have this strange urge to write more...

I love writing Ecklie. He's not a prince, no matter what GD would lead us to believe, but neither is he a complete snake. Mostly, I think he's confused. *pets him*

As for Nicky...just you wait. *g*

What a wonderful chapter. Gil said that in high school he was a ghost and now in essence he is(well when he is with the spirit anyway) and what an eye opener for him. He thinks "No one ever wanted to know what people really thought of them" but here he begins to see just how important a role he has played and does play in peoples lives. How sweet that we see the man that Gil saved from wrongful imprisonment remember him and honour him in such a heartwarming way. And what a revelation for Gil that Nicky wanted to be more than friends, amazing. You even managed to bring Ecklie into the equation and even though he remained Ecklie he was somehow more human and more likable. I can't wait to read the rest of this wonderful story. Update soon? Hugs Lou:)

Aw, thanks! That comment is INTENSELY gratifying. Something like this is always hard; I'm not sure if what I'm trying to do actually comes across to the reader, or if it's just a lot of talking heads and shifting scenes. You're hitting the nail on the head, and I could just do a happy dance!

And Ecklie...the lovable bastard. He amuses me.

I hope to update soon. It seems like ever time I sit down to edit or re-write, the chapters get longer and more complicated. *sigh* Doing my best!
