Spring is springing - we can tell because the plumbing has gone kablooey again. This time the main household drain - and lo and behold, it is made basically of TARPAPER and asphalt,installed sometime around WWII....

Guess it was THE thing at the time, and we sure can't complain about how long ours lasted! Now we'll put something new and modern in the ground and hope it asts long enough to be somebody else's problem!

I went into hibernation as soon as the snow fell, and now it's time to come out and hit the "diagnosis trail" again. Wasn't impressed with the neuro I saw last fall - he'd decided there was nothing wrong with me before I set foot in his office, told me I should see a rheumatologist, but 6 months later STILL hasn't sent hos report to the local clinic. On the other hand have been holding up pretty well and all the "You're Gonna Drop Dead" stuff is pretty well crossed of the list. So "next", I guess.

How are you? How's that pretty babygirl?

The January check-up was a tie. I still have cancer, but the tumors are no larger than they were in June.

Granddaughter is still scheduled to move to Las Vegas to be with Daddy, but the first time line fell apart when the NC tax folks had the Feds send them all of his refund to pay them for the 2009 NC taxes he didn't bother to pay.

So now it's scheduled for June 1 when we return from a cruise on the new Disney ship.

We'll see.

Hey, a tie's a win in this game, I think!

Sigh. Supposedly grown up kids can be such idiots. My son's involved now in a custody battle with his ex (until now custody was 50-50) because her new husband has decided they need to take John's 2 boys and go off to Saudi Arabia for at least a couple of years. Prayers that the best thing happens for all the little ones!
