A philosophical question

What does one write about in Livejournal when there's nothing to write about that would be interesting to other people?

In the past few days I've managed to crack a tooth, break two nails, learn the basics of financial modelling, start arranging the four days I'll spend in Berlin in June (watching dancing vampires, of course) and chat a bit with fyrieI ( Read more... )

blather, rant, real life

We really need to get back to our independant babies, don't we? Silly muses, interacting so nicely.

(Also, have worked out prologue and epilogue of Edouard's story :D)

Hey, not complaining! Just about the fact no-one else'd be interested in hearing about how well Amidio and Tara go together, or how much fun it is to femmeslash two androgynous mortal enemies :P

(Besides, I have a feeling that once you graduate, life will get in the way of quite this volume of RP, anyway.)

*grins* Don't forget the gender-flipping drinking buddies, the ambisexual American and the ex-Empress :D

(True, alas)

But hey, we both HAVE to get published before we hit thirty, right? And since you write quicker, that works ;)

(And really, the RP's given me tons writing-wise. Experience writing new character types, new scenes, writing-on-demand basically...)

I thought that was considered a blasphemous question in the Land of Blog?

FWIW, I agree with your sentiment, but there seems to be a lot of things that could be made interesting even in the short snippet above. Why do you want the Takarazuka DVD? Is it good? What is it about? What's the Moniuszko vocal competition about - not "Polish Idol" I hope?

Anyway, while there's no deatch of subjects to write about - there never is - I get a feeling it's more limited by the two constant enemies: Time and Energy.

Would you have T&E to draw?

*snickers* Polish Idol it ain't. Vocal opera competition.

I think half the problem is because I write so much between work and the RP, I'm kind of burned out on it. Drawing is something I want to get better at, so it's a technical effort rather than a creative one. Plus I've just learned to draw noses facing forward - which is much harder than it sounds, IMHO.
