Drabbles: Ringing the bells (Sandman), Last Day of Summer (Harry Potter)

The second batch of St Nick’s request not-really-drabbles. 480 words about Hob Gadling for xwingace, 658 words about Sirius Black’s mother of all people for amamiyarin. Next up: vampires and more vampires, because I still have to polish up arabwel’s vignette.

Sandman’s Hob Gadling gets a little Christmas spirit )

You're more than welcome :) Hob's not a character to whom I've given much thought, so this was an impulse to explore him further. I might write more of him in the future.

Oh dear!

That's very creepy, but makes lots of sense. Tom Riddle is charming, and there's a reason people like him. Great story!

Thank you :) The fact we're watching through Sirius' Mum's eyes might influence the charming-ness (though Faith is level-headed in political matters and dropped the puppy infatuation very quickly).

Thanks :) I'm writing something longer in HP, and my seductive!Voldemort from that one wanted a part.

Both of these were lovely and fascinating to read. The Hob one made me smile and feel more in the holiday spirit, and the HP one was a bit shiver-inducing. Good work! :)

Thanks :) It did me a load of good to try out writing Voldie before I tackle him and Lucius at the same time!
