I'm not really a fan of any of the Christian/Jesus musicals, but from what I've heard - this version was supposed to be really different and beautiful.

I'm the same way, but I love Godspell. It's got all these really awesome '70s bass lines which I totally dig. It basically sounds like a stripped down version of Hair without all the lyrics about sodomy.
