Parade is one of my favorite shows, and from what little I saw of it, this production looks amazing. I'd love for it to transfer, especially with TR as Leo.

HOKEY? IT SCARED THE CRAP OUT OF ME.

It was like every ghost movie that scared me when I was a kid came to life with that ONE character. She was lit from below, lit from behind, in every haunting, frightening way imaginable. I didn't want to look at her anymore at one point. It also really wasn't apparent why she was there. At the beginning of the play, the young soldier is singing, she's there, so a lot of people were under the impression that she was a character that was going to reappear later in an older form.

The score is beautiful but the play still needs work.

ugh I want this in NY. right now. It's one of my favorite shows and I've never seen it staged save the crappy bootleg from the 1998 production. And I adore TR Knight. I think he's a great choice for Leo.
