Bill Bailey and otters?

Jan 24, 2008 15:03

I often watch Buzzcocks episodes when I can't sleep, and I remember last night I watched a few that I hadn't seen before, and in it Bill Bailey was talking about otters, and some documentary he made. It was hilarious, and I'd like to watch it again now I'm actually awake, but I can't remember who else was in it. Could someone help me out, please?

Hmm... for some reason I'm thinking that episode with Bill Oddie on- I could be wrong. XD

That's from Series 19, by the way...

That wasn't it, actually. I think it was a Lamarr episode. I generally prefer Simon because I first saw it with him, but I've been going back and watching a lot of the earlier episodes. It's such a pain finding them on the internet though! I wish there was this massive Buzzcocks DVD boxset.

I'm pretty sure it was a Lamarr episode, but that wasn't it. That sounds funny, though, I'll check it out anyway. Bill's such a legend. Do you watch Skins? I'm so keen to see him as Maxie's dad.

I've not actually seen much of his acting, since I was never allowed to watch Black Books on the telly and for some reason I've not rented the DVDs. Odd, actually, since I adore Green Wing no end, and Caroline in Green Wing is in it, isn't she? (Also in Love Soup -- I love that, too.)

They have indeed -- Sid's dad in particular is endlessly funny. It's a solidly good show in my opinion, and I like that Simon's only bemoaned the moral depravity, but nothing else. It was a shame Nic Hoult was so quiet, I think, but I loved the banter between him and Simon about him being young.
