Still working on the Joe Dick thing, turning commentfic into proper fic and unbundling everything. Hell, I have 2k words to show already and I am only half-way through. Then I'll get a victim and have it marked for disturbedness.

bunkers! more than anything i would like to visit nuclear bunkers. and maybe live in one...

There is a totally non-operational nuclear bunker under Dover Castle. Somehow, it took them a little longer to realise chalk is porous and that the amount to fuel needed to maintain positive pressure (and so keep the radiation out) was more than you could fit down there. *headdesk*

We went down there on a trip with the school archaeology club, lead by two wonderfully odd staff members, one of whom had some clout with EH.

That was said teacher's big dream. When one came on the market, he asked the agents for plans and only then realised that it was a little large for a family home. It was eventually bought by these people, who happened to need a secure location with Faraday cages, a small firestation and multiple generators. We managed to get ourseleves in for a tour. They had sheep on top.

Besides that, yesyesyesyesyes. I want to visit more bunkers.
