Good.
Uh, pass. I recognise the name (David) and could probably name a movie or two, but beyond that, I am blissfully ignorant, unless you will blissfully inform me? I don't know whether I have been exposed or not.

Cronenberg is weird. I flinch at Cronenberg and I'm not one who flinches easily. Probably the most accessible Cronenberg film is the 1986 remake of THE FLY staring Jeff Goldblum and Geena Davis - but even then there are elements that make the key idea of human-insect hybridisation seem like something on kids TV.
His movie DEAD RINGERS is probably one of the most systematicly intense films I've ever seen, and again, I'm not one-who-disturbs-easily. He's GREAT (and he's a really sweet guy - I've had the pleasure), don't get me wrong, but it's a lot like being dropped in the deep end and then realising someone's pulled over the pool-cover while you were down near the bottom...
And yes - very very Canadian - dark and difficult to read... :P

All I know about The Fly is that it really scared the heck out of my GCSE english teacher... probably a good thing. She taught drama and had a womb fixtation.
Yes, you did tell me, about when I last caught CSI-itus.
Well, Gil's my favourite; it might have something to do with the beard. I've never got much of a handle on Nick. That said, if something is good - and I trust you on that - then kink is sort of the icing on a different cake.

The "too Dark To Read" just made me laugh and laugh and laugh.
How much Cronenberg have you seen?

He also put CKR in a film.
That is one hell of a good metaphor.

I would say that, like Parker Posy, a little Mindy Clarke makes everything better.
Mindy Clarke is almost the TV equivalent of Parker Posy, I think...

That's why I gave up.

Air conditioning is all very well - we had it in Cyprus last summer, thank god - but it is bloody noisy, so I will stick with ours.
I look like something that lives under a rock, hence weather issues.
