Have a fun preparation time. Hihi, I think my fellow PhD students now think that I am now completely off my rockers (or sth like that). I had to laugh out loud when the picture was forming in my head of you looking for your family with a periscope *g*
It's not going too badly (but I need to defuzz my legs :-( ) Have got myself some nice hypothetical quuestions going and trying to develop any [employer] idiosyncracies into good return questions.
Fellow PhD students need to get out more.
Seriously. I stick my arm up in the middle of the shop and "look" for them. I probably need a small collapsible periscope. That would be ace.
Make yourself nice and shiny so you can blurr their vision not only with your intellect ;) Hmm, my fellow PhD students have already gone home - and I'm still here. BUT: I am replying to your comment, so actually not working. I am still wondering what that fact does tell me. :) Concerning the periscope: I should still have one. Or rather something like it. It's from an 'Yps-Heft', a magazine for kids which always comes with a 'cool tool'. It was supposed to enable you to look around corners and above hedges without being noticed. Hihi. Do you want it? (more pictures, more pictures in my head :) )
Not most fantastic interview in the world, but hopefully not too bad. 5 candidates for interview today, so that might be a good-ish chance compared to some of the things I have interviewed for.
Bonded well with the current guy, we both ♥ terry pratchett
Keep bonding ;) ahem. Saw "Hancock" yesterday. What a crappy superhero. Since I was ironing at the same time, I missed a bit of the 'storyline'. If there was one. What a waste of Will Smith. I hope however that the new 'Hulk' will be better than the last one.
