This one is probably on the very edge of bittersweet, with the bitter nearly overwhelming the sweet. It's fucking dark, and not just because it's about four little boys in the dark at night.

It's whatever a typtich with four pictures is.

Well, yes. Plus Kowalski is really the one with a non-traumatic childhood. His father/everything issues hit in later than Vecchio's or Fraser's.

The Turnbull one wasn't meant to be cute, it was meant to be heartbreaking in a subtextual way. Also, bby Benton's is the only one that doesn't have a Mother/Mom/Ma in it, of course.
