Man, Jess' words hold true - see the list price and add $50k. That sounds insane though - this house was only $15k more!

Thinking further along that line, Springvale Road is a marker for property prices, try looking a little further out and you might find somewhere similar, or bigger, for less. Only a few kms could make a big difference if you're willing to spend a few more minutes on the train.

bummer dude :( though if that's the case it wasn't meant to be. At least it saved you the pain of going to auction with all the tension and suspense and it going for more than it's worth right in front of you when you've put in so much effort. You'll find something, and it will be all the more awesome :D
