Doctor Who is being remade for US TV - with an American Time Lord.

The BBC are keen to squeeze yet more cash from the format following the show's success on BBC America. But the British background will be lost. US TV executives are poring over scripts for a series being planned by the team behind hit paranormal

Whyyyy do we always redo Brit shows. I heard they're redoing Being Human and Torchwood--now this? But Doctor Who is so quintessentially BRITISH... I can't imagine an American version will work. :/

I'll watch it too though. XD

Yeah, Torchwood, Being Human (Which the new season better be on BBC America soon), and this? Me either.
