Jodie Foster - out or in?

I've just been reading some of the threads over at Afterellen, and it made me wonder about something.

In la la lesbian land, people are always wondering why Jodie doesn't just come out. She's OBVIOUSLY gay. It'd be a great thing for lesbian visibility. I mean, everyone knows Jodie (except for one girl I work with, who has only seen one Jodie Foster

I never realised or felt the need to think about her sexuality, I'm impressed the press left her alone about it, or at least didn't trumpet it about.

She sure knows what she wants to say about her privacy and not letting people interview her about her life/partner/family, good for her.

Yeah, I think a lot of people don't [realise, or feel the need to think about Jodie's sexuality], because... well, who thinks about someone else's sexuality unless it's brought to your attention? I just read the lesbian news stuff, so I get to hear about this kind of thing, and it got me to wondering on a broader level. But yeah, she's pretty good with the press, eh?

And it's great to see you at random times, it's cool to bump into people!
