Time to be more open ...

Ever since I signed up to Live Journal I've had a boyfriend. Many of you know this already. He lives in Monoco - we met when I went on holiday there - and we've been going out for over 18 months ( Read more... )

Its funny that when you have found in your mind and hart no true connection that is needed to forgo the relationship it still sucks to make it end. Be glad you were a bitch now and not something worse if it had gone on longer. You know you did the right thing for u and nothing else matters in this world. Good luck and no worries.

You're right - and I'm sure I am too.

We were both giving up a lot, and that's not right unless you're both 100% committed. Because of work and the logistics between Liverpool and Monoco, we only saw each other every other weekend. That was part of the problem - every time we met was exciting; a mini-holiday. We didn't do the mundane stuff that couples do, so it took me a while to realise that the attraction was too superficial.

He runs a bar in Monoco so he meets lots of beautiful women - I've met some of them and I know some will be rushing to console him. That's good - he will meet someone locally who can give him what he wants 24/7.

I just need to work out what I want. I think I have.
