Sprouts.

Serious question time:  Am I really the only person who likes brussel sprouts?

I do find it weird.  I like them, I always have.  But they seem to be one of the most loathed vegetables around? Why?

But, anyhoodles, for those who really don't like them, here's another way to cook them than the usual boiling method - this is from the "recipe of the week ( Read more... )

i love brussels sprouts. i have always loved them. theyre tiny tiny cabbages. and broccoli, almost as frequently maligned, is tiny tiny trees. i like tiny things. 1957 bambinas. puppies and kittens. very small tupperware containers.

and also, the whole brassica famblie go Awesomely with bacons. nom.

Tiny foods! Exactly! That is also why I love brussels sprouts. Brussel sprout?
They taste fine, but mostly I like their miniature food status.

I love sprouts. I love to cut them in half and slowly fry them (or roast them) in a little olive oil until they carmelise. They're *amazing*.

It seriously is. They get so sweet. Not a bit of bitterness. And slightly crunchy where the carmelised bit fries a little in the olive oil. Just put a little fresh sea-salt on top and, YUM.

I like brussels sprouts, lightly steamed with lots of crushed garlic and lemon juice. Then eaten with garlic butter.

Much the way I like artichokes.

I love them too...unfortunately blair doesn't which is a shame. but i buy them and nom them myself, not sure about Gabe ...

but i know i've always liked them
