1) Do not put the parking lot ticket in the same pocket as your snazzy new BATMAN BEGINS money clip. Magnets do not play well with magnetic strips.

2) Remember that the universe has no interest in you being clever. Escaping one busy mall's traffic by cutting through another busy mall should serve as a reminder.

You tried to leave Fashion Valley by the super secret back route on a holiday, didn't you?

I was heading into Mission Valley to do some shopping and came up with an alternate plan when I saw how bad the traffic was. I attempted to escape that bad traffic by cutting through Fashion Valley.

It kinda worked. I still think I got out faster than if I'd waded through Mission Valley's traffic, which was bad anyway you looked at it.
