My boss got transferred to High Point for the summer and had to leave the Prius behind. My other boss refuses to drive it because he's afraid he's going to break it, so it's MINE. At least until Trenton figures it out and dumps me with a Taurus wagon or something...
The only thing I don't like about it, and this is admittedly my own fault, is that it is SO COMFORTABLE to drive with your arm (well, my arm) out the window. I have a ridiculous sunburn on my left arm from this weekend.
Dude you are so right... what model year is it? I'm wondering if the one you drive has the nice center console like mine which is as TOTALLY COMFORTABLE for resting your arm as well.
I think it's probably an '08, I'd have to check. I hadn't really noticed, but now I'll have to try the center console out. Maybe it'll keep me from getting more toasted.
Being a 6 year Prius veteran now, I can tell you that the gas mileage defintely improves over the first 5K miles driven or so. The computer learns the appropriate mixtures for your environment and driving style.
The only thing I don't like about the car is the rear view is very small; but other than that it is hands down the best car I have ever driven

I've also been taking advantage of EV mode where I can to see if I can stretch the mpg a little.
And I agree about the rear view, but I am getting used to it.
