Life in a nutshell...

12/17--Bad car accident...whiplash...still recovering...car has $5000 worth of damage and has to be in shop until 1/16!

12/20--6 hr. ride with 10 yr. old niece and our dog, Jax to Pittsburgh for my niece's Bat Mitzvah....lots of fun...whole family together...sister & nieces from Atlanta, parents and aunt & uncle from Baltimore...lots of sister's

FIST Santa gave me a caning the day before the accident, so those bruises distracted me from the accident ouchies! I'm almost 100% there. Just in time for the New Year.

Man, you don't play around. Figures though, you wouldn't do anything half-assed - not even an accident ;-) I hope the pain has eased and that your back is not yelling at you too much. I guess if there is one thing to be thankful for, this happened at the end of the semester, not in the middle of it. I know BL is taking awesome care of you, and I am glad to hear that you are still enjoying the heck out of the holidays. I'll call next week and check in. Love you!

You know me too well

All the pain was localized in my shoulders and neck. BL has been taking care of me well. I can function most of the day, then get fatigued and have to lay down and ice the neck. Much better than last week when I could only function a few hours. You are right about being grateful for this not happening a few weeks earlier....gotta maintain that 4.0!
