So some of you may know that I am not a big fan of rap music. In fact I often don't like it despite that I like most music. This is because of disliking many of the subjects that people rap about, the profanity, and just not liking the repetitiveness. There are more reasons but I make this entry to say one aspect of rap that I LIKE

You would probably like Japanese rap -- it sounds all tough until you listen to the lyrics and realize they're rapping things like, "Don't cry, all your dreams will come true someday" and "My hometown is the best place on Earth." The rhymes aren't as cool, though, because it's so easy to rhyme in Japanese that nobody cares about trying.

I dislike the sound of a lot of rap too because I find a lot of it musically uninteresting. Though I have liked Will Smith for rapping about happy things and not using any bad language. Other than him there is no one I consistently have liked. I tend to avoid it. Even the Japanese rap I have heard sounds no better to me. The nice lyrics are lost on me since I can't understand it. haha
