Here are two photos from my play.  The first one shows us two shepherds in the act of doing each other in -- I'm holding a bowl of poison to his lips and he's tightening a necklace about my throat.  As you can see, we're got up like Biblical shepherds in a nativity pageant.  I looked for a good photo of our very cute Pierrot, but none of them quite ( Read more... )

Your Pierrot certainly has a mobile face. I think 12 out the 14 is a pretty good one...and there's one where he's taking what looks like a lively interest in your prone and doubtless shapely calves.

He does have a mobile face, and an even more mobile body. He was all over the place, perching on chairs, flinging himself down on the floor, and generally filling out the part as well as anyone could. Admiring my dead feet, I fear, was a requirement of the role. The script says so. Now, if only I could have worn a pair of ruby slippers . . .

Strangled! Eep! So you basically spend about half the play lying prone while your Pierrot waxes poetical over your corpse... Yours is a strange and wondrous hobby there, kid! ;)

Well, it's not quite that bad. Pierrot and Colombine open the show, then comes our bit (the longest part of the play), and then P & C come back for about three or four minutes after we're dead. So we don't have to be corpses all that long. The hardest part is making sure my lifeless body ends up well under the table. Isn't that where most people put their dead bodies?
