For those of you who don't know, Passover is this week. G's school has been doing a segment on passover and singing passover songs. She came home today singing one song I have no clue what it means. Di-an-u is howit sounds. I did here them singing it when I came to pick her up

we whack eachother with green onions while we sing it. its um, some sort of tradition.

you know she goes to a jewish school right?

I love it though. She sings the "shalom song" pretty much all the time. She knows what Shabbot is. she loves and knows Challah bread well. I think we were the only gentiles around who know when purim was and dressed up for it. ( well she did, not us). I don't know if she'll remember it- but I love that she is getting info on somethiing Benand I know not a lot about. She can come home and teach us songs. One of her favs is "candles buring bright. It's friday night..."
