Ahh, this was so much more graphic than I expected it to be! Poor Linkara, I can't believe Insano hurt him that badly! Thankfully Spoony arrived, though I wish he had been in time to save Linkara's life. At least they are bound together and will be with each other after Linkara arrives in his new destination.

No, no, no! This isn't how it's supposed to happen! Even if Spoony returns to Heaven with Linkara at his side, it's too soon! There's too many things left for them to do together in the mortal world!

Excellent penultimate chapter - obviously, it didn't go the way I had expected at all. I really like how a human's love for an angel gives off a powerful energy, and how Insano's exploitation of this trait makes Linkara realize his true feelings for Spoony. And as sad as it made me, I also liked Spoony's verbal contract, binding himself to Linkara while he still had the chance.

These two had better find happiness in the last chapter, or I'll... I don't know, throw a major tantrum or something. :P

It was Spoony, but it wasn’t. The smile was too wide, the teeth too sharp, and over his eyes was a pair of goggles, swirling with a thousand colors. And the wings… the wings were all wrong. There were two of them, but they weren’t angel wings. They were black, scaly, sharp… just like in his nightmare.
There was a demon standing in his living room.
Niiiiiiiiiiice.
I mean … oh no? *not at all sincere*

Badass fight!

“I love you.” Spoony bent and pressed his lips to Linkara’s. “I love you… and I bind myself to you.” He lay down beside him. “So yes… you will see me soon.” Spoony gathered Linkara into his arms, laying his wing over them both again. “Are you…comfortable?”
“Spoony…”
“I’m bound to you…that means…I die with you…and I share your fate…no matter what it is.”
Linkara stared at him. “Spoony…”
“It’s all right…it means an eternity with you…and there’s nowhere I’d rather be.”
