I can understand the political process bringing you to burnout - I was eyeball-deep in the '04 campaign, and in some ways, I think I'm still not healed from that one. (Didn't help that the goddamn Bloody Sock hit so close to the election, and the orgy of gloating and curb-stomping and glorification of hate and ... er, there may still be some open wounds from that one too.)
