I think of someone who has a hard time in school because they have a problem with learning caused by some sort of mental thing. I guess the first one that comes to mind is dislexia, and then ADD and ADHD. Also If someone told me they had a learning disability it would sound treatable, while being leaning disabled sounds like all hope is lost.
