Chuck Sings! (+ Updated Renew/Canceled Watch)

May 07, 2010 13:27

For some reason, it always amuses me when an actor sings. So, when I found that Zachary Levi (Chuck.... from Chuck, duh) was singing in this music video, I seriously LOLed. Something tells me this song was made for (or at least, featured) in the show, but my memory's horrible so I can't remember.

(He has a solo at 1:30)

Even actually watching Zach sing, it doesn't feel like that's his voice. lol But I think he's actually pretty good... the version that I saw before didn't have him singing on his own and it's harder to hear him with her singing with him. (and strangely, I just randomly was mentioning this video last night or the day before that).

And I hate to say it, but I don't even really want Chuck to get renewed, not if it's just going to be more of this season. (And I tried to watch Burn Notice cause I loved Jeffrey Donovan in TE so much but I just don't get why everyone loves the show. Even with the awesome Ben Shenkman guest starring, I was like ".... eh." lol)

I know.. The face does not equal the voice. It's weird. He's not bad, though. There's two versions of this song. One has his solo and the other doesn't.

I can't seriously watch Jeffrey Donovan in anything else. His character is so blaaaaaaa in Burn Notice too. I can't see the appeal of the show either. =P

As far as Chuck, I haven't seen the last several episode so.. I dunno. xD

Exactly. He sounds fairly good (I'm usually wary of singer turned actors cause they usually suck but make it anyways because they're a known name. Plus, the fangirls obsessions irritate me. I know a girl who loves Jensen and she and all her friends go on and on about how super incredible his singing voice is. It's not bad but it's not remarkable to me and I find it annoying that people have to make such a huge deal).

I know, right? I didn't like his character either, and the show itself was just really not that well done. I didn't even bother finishing the episode.

Like I said before, there are some decent moments but I have an extremely low tolerance to Chuck/Sarah and my tolerance was passed about 2 minutes into this season. (okay, that's a lie. It was like 10 seconds after Sarah first appeared in the show LOL)

I didn't mind Chuck/Sarah at the beginning and SOMETIMES I like their scenes together. But, this season the writers seem determined to THROW them in your face. It's very rarely I would prefer a downplay of the two main character's relationship (actually, the only other time I've felt this was between Patrick Jane and Teresa Lisbon from The Mentalist). But, sometimes I have to go "OK, we get it. Shut up."

I had very little problems with Sarah at the beginning, but now she's a stereotypical KA-bimbo and that kinda anger me. =/

And completely unrelated to anything, but in case you didn't see it, there might be some things that interest you in this post!

(also, I don't think I will ever be able to stop calling Joshua Jackson Pacey. LOL)

Animations.. *eats them* xD

(Is it silly I sometimes slip up when writing about Fringe and call him Charlie? lol)

Isn't it funny how an actor just becomes that one character for you sometimes?
