I just saw on my local news that DSS took away a 9 month old baby boy away from his parents because they had 7 dogs in the house..and here I am with 5 dogs in the house and trying to have a baby. And my husband is so adament about not getting rid of any of them. Fuck... this whole baby deck is pretty stacked against me isn't it?

I would guess the house was in horrible condition because of the dogs, or they were mean dogs. They wouldn't just take the baby, usually they'd say get rid of the dogs first. I wonder what kind of circumstances led to them taking the baby away? Did it say anything besides about the dogs?

They said the house was in bad shape. My house sometimes gets like that. I bitch all the time about the dogs and the messes they make. I want em either outside or gone, but Rick's answer is always 'no' to both. Sometimes I think that he'd rather have the dogs than a baby.

^ this is why I told the BF we are not ever going to have a dog. That and the fact that I don't care for dogs lol. If it were me, as soon as I found out I was pregnant, I'd take at least 2 and probably 3 dogs to the shelter while the bf was gone. He can get the hell over it!
