Just read the whole thing, last night until I couldn't focus anymore and then again today up to here. Great stuff -- I liked the old one (and actually preferred having a bit more information on what the heck was going on with Orlando's movie and the people and all) but I like what you've done with the rewrite and agree that in general it's smoother and flows better.

I also like your use of John in this chapter. [pets John] Poor guy, he hardly ever shows up in our stories so it's good to see him coming to the rescue. :)
