And I love that she was so her. Even through all those changes, there was this Darla-ness that never changed. She was the ultimate velvet over iron. She was elegant but never fragile.

She really, really is. I must try to write about her sometime when I am not tired.

And thank you. I did make that one (though not this one). And she's very pretty (and finally she found out how to make the dark hair work - it was looking bad for a while).
