Sorry, Lance.

But... damn.

See, you need to sing more, Lance. Otherwise, how will you be able to compete? Come back and sing! Sing, damn you!

There's this break on "weep" that just, like, utterly kills me.

You know, before I started reading due South fanfic, I hadn't a clue about curling. I still don't have much of a clue, I'll admit. But. Yes ( Read more... )

I have never seen a episode of due South before.

And are you on AIM? I survived the Evil History Midterm Exam of Doom! :)

Whee! Go you!

It's a great show, says the girl who's seen one episode. Fraser and RayK really spark.

I'd get on aim, only my mom would then kill me because she wants me to get my sleeping hours normal.

It's what happens when you live in a college dorm. *g*

Curling. Hee. In Belfast, Maine, one of the biggest social halls is the building owned by the Belfast Curling Club. My brother who lives in Belfast was married there. It was mainly a self-catered event, so I don't know how the food there is. If it matters to anyone.

And on the dueSouth slash front, I was writing just a little earlier this evening about the Friday evening business open-house thingy here in my small town in the Berkshires. What I didn't mention was that one of the businesses- a place that runs a variety of writing workshops and sponsors a variety of readings- is the brain-and-love-child of two well known and respected slash writers, originally both best known in the Sentinel fandom, and now variously writing in Smallville, Buffy, and dueSouth. It's funny, because I was actually aware of them as slashers long before I realized that they were locals, and had in fact written fan letters to one of them. It's truly a small world at times.

That's really cool. I've heard that The Sentinel was the slashiest show ever. Never seen it, though.

So, curling. Brooms and teakettles, right?
