Why I love them or why I wish they'd go die in a fire.
I love Inara because she's strong-willed and determined and she knows herself very well, but she also knows that there are things out there that she doesn't know. She's very centered, but she falters sometimes. She takes risks and breaks rules even as she maintains the appearance of respectability.
My OTP for the character
Mal/Inara. I actually like a lot of Joss's canon ships. M/I is one of them. I like that both of them are wrong sometimes (and both of them are right sometimes too). I like that her feelings for him are something that throw her off-balance but that she manages to hide that from him.
My favorite gen relationship with this character.
Her friendship with Kaylee always made me so incredibly happy. They were so adorable together.
An unpopular opinion about this character.Hmm. I can't remember which things were and weren't popular about her character. I seem to recall that she wasn't as beloved a character as some others, so maybe my love for her is an unpopular

I love her. First off, I love the book that inspired the series, The Count of Monte Cristo and Emily is such a BAMF. Basically, I stare at her like Nolan stares at her. I love seeing her acting ability and I love that we get to see underneath the shell. I love that she's still, at heart, that pissed-off girl and that she's managed to hone her rage but sometimes it shows through at the edges.

Nolan is my OTP for her. I love their dynamic and I think she has more spark with him than with the ~triangle guys.
My favorite gen relationship with this character.
"Amanda". I really hope that they do interesting things with these two next season and she doesn't just because an obstacle to Emily.

I actually liked the triangle, though I don't want her to end up with either guy.
One thing I wish would [have] happen[ed] with this character in canon.I wish that she'd killed that guy in the finale. I mean, yes,
