I started crying when Owen demanded to be given one good reason why he shouldn't scream his way into the grave and Tosh said, "Because you're breaking my heart," and then I continued weeping on and off until the ending.
I did too. Man I can't really be coherent right now. This is exactly what I want from this show. And if Owen and Tosh had to die, I'd want it like that: Tosh because she's brave and strong and Owen being the git he often is until someone he loves pulls him out of his seflishness for just one minute.

Though I'm wary about replacements. I kinda hope that Jack avoids it for awhile. And I really can't wait to see why he's on Doctor Who - I was so happy that he didn't run away like I fear he would have.

Yes! I'm so thrilled that the show is good enough to completely break my heart.

Indeed. It was really so perfect for both of them. Tosh, in particular, was so incredible. Just... wow. That was the two of them being the absolute best possible person that they could be and it was amazing.

I'm also really looking forward to seeing how Jack ends up on DW. I'm glad that he's there providing support for Gwen and Ianto.

*hugs them*

I can't believe this is the same show that often frustrated me in the first half of series one because I mostly saw wasted potential. I hope the next series is even better.

I raged against the deaths when I heard spoilers, but god they were perfect. It was just complete enough for me not to feel cheated, but to feel the profound darkness Torchwood is about.

He comes back after thousands(I think it was) years of being underground attempting to atone for a guilt he shouldn't suffer and then Gray still wouldn't forgive him and he had to come to seeing Tosh bleeding to death and telling him Owen - ( ... )

Yeah -- they've really lived up to their potential this series. Like you, I'm hoping that they'll only get better. This series was so fantastic.

Exactly. TW is a dark place to live in and they were really willing to go there this series -- not just with Tosh and Owen but, as you mention, with the horror of what happens to Jack. He needs his Ianto and Gwen right now, very much.

I really hope this carries over in Doctor Who. I think it will, they carried over his suicidal urges and dealt with them perfectly in Utopia and I bought his choice to go back to his team and start something in The Last of the Time Lords/Kiss Kiss Bang BangI think so, too. They've been quite good with ( ... )

I just watched it and... I'm irrationally angry.

Angry because Tosh was underused throughout the course of both series, and angry because Owen had become this big ball of awesomesauce this series and had become one of my favorite characters.

And they're gone? Ouch. And it sucks. And... I'm gonna go pout for a while.

If they really are completely gone, I'm going to miss them so much (and I'm pretty sure that they are -- they both got closure). I really loved both the characters dearly.

I hate to say it but I do feel it was the right time for this to happen.

It was written really well and acted beautifully and made me cry a lot, I've not cried like that since "Doomsday"

I still want my magic Tosh/Owen are back fix but that's just because the show made me love them so much.

And I so need a OT3 icon for Jack/Ianto/Gwen from this ep, if anyone sees one send it my way

I agree. It was a really well-done episode and TW is a dark-enough show that these deaths really fit the atmosphere of the show.

I know just how you feel. There were two absolutely gorgeous possible shots of the three of them.

Tosh and Owen broke my hearts, but I've said that already. And we got canon on the 'doctor' Sato in Doctor Who -- she was covering for Owen! Perfect and lovely and... oh, Tosh.

I loved that. And everything else. :'(

I feel so sad about Tosh, brave little Tosh. Rolling down the stairs, not telling Owen she is dying too. Tosh makes me cry.

They could have let her lived. Jake could have found her in time.

Tosh was so brilliant. I don't want her to be dead, but that was a really, really well-done death. So, I'm torn. But if they wanted to bring Tosh back, I'd be thrilled about it.
