I finally figured out where I knew Jeffrey Dean Morgan (the dad on Supernatural) from (one of those -- "Hey! I coulda sworn I knew that guy..." kinda thing). He was a shady business man (hmm... was he the shady one or was it someone else?) in Provider, in Season Three of Angel.

He's much hotter as John Winchester, I must say.
