Thank you!

This partly started when I was watching Call of the Wild and said, "huh, you know, the look on Fraser's face is really reminding me of Victoria's Secret."

Oh, so good. So good! And you've used footage that I haven't seen six billion times and the mood and the pacing and the everything! So much love there. This was fantastic!

Will you put a link up at ds_noticeboard? Because you really, really should.

*watches again*

Thank you!

I wanted the vid to be more about the little moments, though the big moments are still important. Like Fraser and RayK opening doors together or handing each other coffee and just being there. And it helped that I very deliberately set the vid before their flight up to Canada, because that all gets used a lot in vids and their story is still strong enough without it.

Also, I went ahead and followed your advice and linked to the vid over on ds_noticeboard.

Thank you!

And yes, the similarities between Victoria and Vecchio and the way they affected Fraser is something that I think about sometimes, so making the vid is also a way of showing people exactly why I think those things.

I'm so glad that you liked it!

Oh, hey, are you the same AuKestrel as the one who wrote Near Wild Heaven? I adore that story!

I have to confess that I was getting a little teary-eyed about the time F showed up with the candles. It was a very complex vid.

Uh, yeah, that's me. AFAIK I'm the only AuKestrel. *g*

Fraser always makes me cry in Victoria's Secret, so I know how you feel.

I figured it probably had to be, since AuKestrel is not the stunningly common nickname that 'butterfly' is.

And I really liked what you did with the Vecchio side of things in that story. As the vid probably showed, I do think that Vecchio is really important when it comes to figuring out the Fraser/Kowalski angle.
