Love is checking a recs journal for new stuff and seeing your story recced on there. Seriously, it's with the good vibes (though there is the not-so-hidden longing for that person to feedback, but being recced is a bit like getting secret feedback, so there's a balance).

Title: White Rabbits

It might not be a very good idea to get to know Luke.

Chills. Just, chills.

*meep*

Is the guilt going to be enough, or is he going to decide it was worth it for the chance?

I love it when people are honest to themselves about themselves.

Thank you.

And, well, they do say that honesty is the best policy. Well, Obi-Wan wouldn't say that, because he lies like Vala. But, you know, most people.

Breathers were a last resort, like Anakin’s right arm, used only when the tissue involved was missing or irreparably damaged.

It wasn’t, all things considered, a particularly good sign.

Obi-Wan gets a bit more information about how no-one connected Darth Vader with Knight Skywalker. I bet this makes his even less happy when he processes it.

Master Yoda had told Anakin once that the Jedi needed to be shaken out of their complacency on a regular basis or they would stagnateAnakin found that the vision in his mind was shifting.

eu... that's going to be freaky, if he keeps seeing past events that haven't happened for him yet.

Anakin hadn’t yet had a chance to figure Luke out, but he wasn’t entirely sure that he should try.

Personally, I don't think Anakin at that age COULD figure out Luke. I don't think even old Anakin could figure him out, but at least he learned to accept Luke and his unconditional love.

Hmmm. Mon Motha and an old friend of Luke's... who will THAT be?

Irreparable lung damage is no one's happy place, definitely.

Question-- why don't Obi-Wan and Anakin finish listening to 3CPO's report? He left off before he could get to the important part, ie, the RoTS timeframe.

They stopped to argue about politicians, then Anakin attempted to maul Obi-Wan, and then Anakin felt all weak because they were at the Temple. By then, they'd successfully been distracted.

*Very* interesting. What is making Anakin say this? Is he reconsidering keeping the kids in his future (in the face of the evidence of who he becomes)? Scared what Luke knows/understands about him?

It is a rather ominous thought on Anakin's part. He should work on that.

I'm so addicted to the story by now. Damn you!

Hee, thank you!

Each chapter is like chinese food - really satisfying while I'm devouring it, but twenty minutes later I'm ready for more.

Like everyone else I'm stuck on that line about Luke, and I keep waiting for the scene when the two of them cave and talk (or when fate gives them no other choice).

And I think Anakin's right to be worried, because Luke gets him, the very soul of him, enough to pull him from the Dark Side and that kind of power can be really scary. I get the feeling that if they had grown up normally they'd either be extremely close or totally distanced from each other.

You write some really good stuff, to get me thinking like this.

And yeah, the Anakin&Luke dynamic is such an important part of the movies, and, of course, how Anakin gets redeemed. And Luke's a very perceptive guy.
