1. I dislike calling in sick to work. Correction: I dislike disappointing people. But I've been coughing for the last two days (which were my days off) and I sound like I've spent the last forty years smoking, so really, drive-through is kinda out. Plus, the horrid cough just might put people off their food

You should watch Thanks for the Memory -- it's Rimmer's deathday, and they're nice to each other. You can really see why Rimmer's so fucked-up and that Lister cares about him, probably because he's also getting to learn why Rimmer's so fucked up (the final episode of Series One is good for that, too, because we get to see that Rimmer is just as nasty and horrible to himself as he is to Lister).
