I specially liked how Anakin explained to Han his view of droids. I just remembered they were discriminated against in A New Hope.

Thank you!

The Skywalkers really do seem to be nicer to droids than pretty much anyone else that we meet.

More interaction between Han and Anakin - squeee. :-) Very interesting! There are all the ingredients for them having a fight (different opinions about droid, about the Force not too mention Anakin just tempering with Han's precious Falcon. And yet, they find common ground.

And this line cracked me up:
“I suppose that I could go wait somewhere else,” Threepio said. “Where I can be alone and unwanted.”

Thanks for updating so quickly!

Comparing and contrasting Han and Anakin amuses me.

Yay!

You're doing that retroactive thing!!! Anakin has someone VALIDATING his views, strengthening them! Gah!

Also: well done, yo.

Thanks, hon. And yeah, it's possibly not good that Han and Anakin agree on the love thing.

Had to get up to see if I was still sick. And I am, so I called into work. I always have to get up early if I'm sick. It's one of those extra-nasty things about being sick. Like a cruel joke.

Hooray for more Anakin and Han interaction, and for Anakin defending droids in general and Threepio in particular. (Han does treat him appallingly at times in the Imperial trilogy, it has to be said.)

Anakin's view on Obi-Wan rings true (as an Anakin pov, just as Obi-Wan's view on Anakin is subjective and true for him but misses out things as well), and I love this bit: He’s good at most of the things that he doesn’t like.

Han noticing Anakin wears a glove like Luke was a neat touch. And he still didn't hear that last name.*veg*

The Skywalkers (including Padme) definitely do seem to treat droids better than most other people.

That's one of the best parts of writing the story this way -- it comes across pretty clearly that there are all these different points of view and that no one person has a handle on The Truth.

Thanks!

And I really think that Leia and Anakin are a lot alike, while Luke is much more like his mother.
